Drawing on five decades of civic engagement and a lifelong study of constitutional structure, my books trace how the foundational promises of American democracy have been rewritten, revoked, or sold — and set out, reform by reform, what must be done to restore them.
Before writing full time, I spent a career solving problems in industry — leading technical teams at IBM and mentoring professionals across fields. That background runs through the work: an insistence on logic and precision, and a conviction that knowledge should empower rather than intimidate. The writing rejects both fear-mongering and false comfort; it treats readers as intelligent adults capable of hard truths and real solutions.
